A silver sixpence of William III, (1694-1702). Obverse: GV[ILIELM]VS [III DEI GRA]; laureate bust right. Reverse: [MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX]; crowned shields. The coin is worn on each face and has been deliberately smoothed and bent into a very gentle S shape. These features suggest it was re-used as a love token.
