A silver seal matrix of Post Medieval date. Treasure case: 2015 T732.
The face of the matrix is oval, with an incised border running along the outside consisting of two shallow grooves, the outer most of which is double the width of the inner. Inside the border is an incised depiction of the head and torso of a donkey above a crown. A star is carved into the donkey's chest.

Silver toothpick/earscoop with sickle-shaped pick, bent out of shape, with flattened sides. The incomplete pick emerges from the body of a stylised dragon, shaped so as to serve as a handle. Midway along the upper side of the dragon's body is an incomplete suspension loop. The dragon's body is marked with scales. From the dragon's open mouth, as if it were the dragon's tongue, emerges a strip of silver which terminates with a recent break and would have had an earscoop at the end when complete.

A silver penny probably of Edward IV, (1461-1470), of the York ecclesiastical mint.
The bust style suggests Edward III as there is no hollow neck but objects either side of the bust appear to be a T and a key which would indicate Edward IV. The coin is too worn for accurate ID and can be dated AD 1351-77 or AD 1471-83.

A silver fragment possibly from a strap end or a terminal. The fragment is formed of a folded sheet of silver decorated on both sides with incised engraved lines and secured with a rivet. The cavity within is compacted with a material which may be due to the object's burial. Affixed to this folded sheet is a finial in the form of a beast's head, possibly a lion, and a collared knop. On the reverse of this fitting the knop is in the round and the beast's head section is flat, this tapers to a point along the back the engraved sheet of silver.

A Roman coin hoard consisting of 5 silver denarii deposited within a lead cone shaped container with a lead disc stopper. Treasure case 2014 T966.
A cast lead alloy container is conical with a sub-circular cross-section. The mouth of the container measures 45.18mm in length and 40.15mm in width externally. Internally the mouth measures 26.53mm in length and 26.55 in width. The mouth has a wide uneven rim or lip which appears to have been formed by the lead alloy of the mouth being folded or pushed back on its self. The rim measures 9.67mm in width at its widest part.
