A silver seal matrix dating from the 17th or early 18th century.
The matrix face is oval and the conical handle has six facets. The terminal of the handle is an openwork tri-lobed suspension loop, the top loop of which is incomplete. There is a thick hexagonal double collar between the loop and the shaft.
The matrix face has a beaded border and the central design is of a crown over a heart pierced by two crossed arrows. There is a very small rounded symbol in each angle of the arrows, except the angle filled by the crown. These are probably intended to be drops of blood, mak…

A post-medieval silver open thimble of probable 17th century date. The body of the thimble is formed from a strip of sheet metal, wrapped around to form a cylinder. The two ends no longer join and leave a gap with one side slightly pushed inside the other. In shape, the cylinder tapers towards the top.
The inner surface of the cylinder is undecorated except for a maker's mark, and has no visible makers mark. The outer surface is decorated with three decorative oval bands which join at the sides with an oval band containing two pits. At the top and botto…

A complete silver thimble of post-medieval date. The thimble has irregular pits which run down the sides in straight rows; each pit is divided from the next by vertical and horizontal incised lines forming a square grid like effect. The crown of the thimble is domed and has a central pit surrounded by two circumferential grooves. This is surrounded by circles of pits which are again divided into a grid-like formation with the squares instead forming a trapezoidal shape corresponding to the widening dome.

An incomplete silver thimble of post-medieval date. The thimble has regular pits and a domed crown. The centre of the crown is un-pitted as is a horizontal band running around the centre transacted by three vertical bands to form three crosses. In the centre of each cross is a sexfoil, possibly representing a flower or sunshine.
There is no visible maker's mark however the rim is broken on one side. Copper alloy staining is visible on the inside of the thimble. When originally found the object contained a thin foil silver lining, now missing.
