A silver clasped hands finger ring. Treasure Case: 2019 T817. Description: A complete post medieval, silver 'fede' finger ring. The bezel depicts two hands clasped together, the details of the fingers are picked out with shallow incised lines. Flanking the hands on both sides are rectangular shaped cuffs. The cuffs are decorated with incised traverse lines, one at the top and two lines at the bottom. Treasure Number: 2017 T1013 Medieval silver coin brooch. It is a silver coin that has been converted into a brooch by the addition of attachments to one side (current weight: 4.08g, diameter: 29mm). The coin is a silver gros tournois of Philip IV, King of France (1285-1307), a relatively large silver coin for the period. The utilisation of French gros tournois as brooches in this manner is familiar in England at this time, and there have been many finds of similar nature. Treasure Case 2017 T668: A complete silver Medieval to post-Medieval stud (c.1400-c.1550). The stud is lozenge-shaped with a trefoil knop at each corner. Moulded decoration at the front is in the form of a formal flower motif consisting of a central pellet surrounded by twelve similar but slightly smaller pellets. The twelve pellets form a lozenge and follow the outline of the edge of the stud. The rear face is flat and has a central spike which appears to have been bent into a coil. A medieval silver grosso from Medieval Bulgaria, produced under Ivan Alexander, (1331-1371), mint: Tarnarvo (Bulgaria), type КБМ 1.13.3 (МПТ Т. 11.2; OJN Т. I.8), the design derived from the Venetian Grosso. The coin dates AD1337-55. Obverse: Christ, nimbate, standing facing, raising hands in benediction; IC XC flanking head, pellets to either side. Reverse: tsar Ivan Alexander and his son prince Michael II Asen, crowned and bearded, in royal apparel and wielding scepters while also holding a standard between them.

A silver complete single loop buckle of Meols type 4 dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1350 - 1400. Treasure case: 2015 T294. The frame is D-shaped in plan and the upper face is bevelled. There is a small, pointed knop in the centre of the outer edge which is notched to take the pin. The strap bar is offset and the pin remains attached and complete. The pin is lozenge shaped in cross-section and measures 11.66mm in length and 2.30mm in width at its base. The base of the pin flares out and is sub-rectangular. A complete and slightly misshapen silver-gilt finger-ring. Treasure case no 2016 T545. A silver ornamental ring, broad flat band with a beaded borders within circumferential ridges. Treasure case: 2016 T21. Late medieval or early post-medieval silver finger- ring. The ring is formed of a strip of silver. The ends, originally soldered together, have now separated. The surface of the ring is engraved with hatched areas forming a V-shaped pattern. These are separated by plain borders and the edges of the ring are decorated with beading. The finger-ring dates to the 15th to 16th century. Dimensions: maximum diameter 26 mm, width 6 mm.
