Fragment of a ceramic candle stick holder dating to the 17th century. The object is cylindrical and circular in cross-section. The object expands outwards in the centre and each end terminates in a break. The top of the object is hollow in order to house the candle, with an internal diameter of 17mm. The base of the object is solid with a small rectangular depression probably to house the stem of the holder. The internal fabric of the object is light brown with no visible inclusions.
