A medieval finger-ring consisting of a flattened hoop and a raised pyramidal bezel. The bezel has a rectangular setting at its apex designed to contain a purple stone (probably an amethyst), which is now loose. The bezel has received some damage at its base. The stone was found loose inside the bezel suggesting that some sort of organic material which has decayed held it in place.

A medieval finger-ring of stirrup shape with a bezel containing two stones. These stones seem to have been set into the ring at a later date and are multi-facetted. They may be glass meant to simulate a garnet and a sapphire. (Analysis necessary if there is museum interest). The shoulders of the ring are decorated with engraved flowers.

A cast copper alloy finger ring of probable Roman date. The oval bezel on the thickened part of the ring has a vacant space where a stone would have sat. The shoulders of the ring are decorated on each side with five inset transverse ridges of which the second ridge out from the bezel on either side is larger. The hoop which is circular has a D-shaped profile.

Cast copper alloy finger ring dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1800). The object has a circular hoop and a hexagonal bezel. Raised shoulders join the bezel to the hoop and are decorated with horizontal grooves. The bezel is decorated with four leaves which join in the centre. These are surrounded by four grooves on each side from which expands smaller transverse grooves. There is a break on one side of the hoop and the shoulders have been damaged. The bezel is 5.04mm thick 15.82mm in width and 14.56mm in length. The hoop 2.04mm thick. The object has a dark green patina.

Cast copper alloy finger ring probably dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The object consists of a sub-circular hoop and an oval bezel. The hoop is D-shaped in cross section and of uneven thickness. The shoulders are decorated with small grooves at each edge and taper inwards before expanding into the bezel. The bezel is a raised pointed oval in plan. The remains of grooved decoration can be seen on the bezel however the decoration is worn. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition.

Cast copper alloy finger ring dating to the Medieval period. The object is 'stirrup' shaped with a slender hoop rising to a pointed bezel. At the top of the bezel is an oval recess for a setting, now missing. The sides of this setting have been broken. The hoop is D-shaped in cross-section. The hoop worn and uneven, one side of the hoop measures 2.13mm in width while the opposite side measures 3.35mm, just below the bezel. The object is dark golden brown and has been heavily cleaned. An incomplete cast copper-alloy finger ring dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). Only the bezel and parts of the shoulders survive intact, the remainder of the ring now missing due to old breaks. The shoulders are D-shaped in section and expand towards the bezel. The bezel itself is oval shaped and expands to the edges of the band. The bezel is very worn and corroded. There is no visible decoration. The finger ring measures 19.51mm in length, 22.84mm in width, 6.41mm thick and weighs 8.9g.
