Obverse: IACOBVS II DI GRATIA; laureate and draped bust left. Reverse: 1690 . MAG . BR . FRA . ET . HIB . REX; Crown with two sceptres crossed behind, in each quarter XII//I/R//MAY: (XII = denomination).

A silver shilling probably of William III, possibly intended to be a love token. Reverse: [ ]; crowned cruciform shields.
Obverse: [GVLI]ELMVS III [DEI GRA]; laureate bust right.
The coin is worn and has been bent this may suggest that it was re-used as a love token. However it has not been bent into the typical S-shape and therefore it may also be post-depositional damage.

A silver shilling probably of William III, (1688-1694) possibly intended to be a love token. The coin is worn on each face and has been bent into a gentle S-shape. Ths suggests that it was re-used as a love token.
Coins of William III were commonly converted into love tokens. Each face of the coin is worn and heavily scratched.
