A silver sixpence probably of William III, (1694-1702). Obverse: [ ]; laureate bust right. Reverse: [ ]; crowned shields.
The coin is worn on each face and has been deliberately smoothed and bent into a very gentle S shape. These features suggest it was re-used as a love token.
