An incomplete polished whetstone or hone stone. The object is oval in plan and is a crested oval in cross-section. It is smooth and polished on each face with small concretions adhering to one face. A series of linear scratches on the object are visible on each side. The whetstone has been manufactured from very fine-grained, blue-grey stone.
Dimensions: 135mm in length, 50mm in width at the incomplete end, 35mm in width at the narrow end, 45mm thick at the incomplete end, 25mm thick at the narrow end.

A complete post-Medieval lead weight (c.AD1600-c.1800).
The object is spherical with a rough pitted outer surface. A circular hole has been drilled through the centre of the object and measures 5mm in diameter. The hole does not perforate the opposite face of the musket ball, stopping short. There is no visible casting seem. The object has a light greyish-brown patina.

A fragment of a copper alloy vessel dating from the medieval to the post-medieval period. The fragment consists of the rim of a vessel probably used for cooking. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and slightly curved in profile. The internal face of the vessel has a smooth mid-green surface. The outer face is rough and has adhering traces of a black sooty material, probably carbon deposits due to use over a fire for cooking.

A lead alloy spindle whorl or weight of medieval date. The object is circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section with a central sub-circular perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 8mm. Each face is undecorated and worn. The object has a mid-white smooth patina.

Spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the medieval period c.1100-1500.

An incomplete copper alloy post-Medieval copper-alloy belt loop / slide (c. 1750-c. 1900).
The strap fitting is sub rectangular in plan, and a flattened 'U' shape in profile. The top is rectangular. It has been decorated with a central sub-rectangular ridge around which are pits or dots. Remnants of an iron pin / rivet are present in the centre of each side. This iron pin, presumably formed as the method of attachment to the strap. The rear face and sides of the strap fitting are plain and undecorated.

A copper alloy bracelet or armlet of Roman date. The bracelet has a simple hoop with decorative spiral terminals. Each terminal of the object forms the opposite spiral twist of the clasp with two wires passing either side wrapping around the hoop of the bracelet. On the internal face of the hoop opposite the clasp the hoop widens and opens out. It is unclear if this is part of the decoration or due to damage from the plough soil. The object has a mid-green patina.

A copper alloy button of post-medieval date. The object is circular in plan and biconical. At the base of the object is a bifurcated projection which is the base of the incomplete attachment loop. The object has a only a small fragment of mid-green patina remaining and a dark brown surface. Similar examples can be found in Bailey, (2004), p28-29. It can be dated from the late 15th - 16th century.

A fragment from a copper alloy spherical animal "crotal" bell of Post-Medieval date. Only a fragment of one sphere survives. The fragment is 47mm in length, 21mm high and 2mm thick. It is curved in profile. One edge is incomplete due to recent breaks while the other edge is complete and decorated with a median band. The outer surface of the bell has been tinned.

A lead alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The object is circular in plan with a large central circular perforation. The perforation measures 9mm in diameter. Each face is worn with a light greyish brown patina and is undecorated.
Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1100-1500.
