An incomplete blue glass bead of an Oldbury type. The object is bun shaped and is decorated with three white swirls. Only one half of the bead survives however it appears to be a modern break. The object appears to be capped, ie different glass on the outside and on the core, which is quite rare. The bead can be classified as Guideo Class 6, M.Guido, The Glass Beads of the Prehistoric and Roman Periods in Britain and Ireland (1978)53-57 and 112-117(schedules).
Similar beads which can be found on the database are YORYM-7DAAE6 and LIN-3A9556.

A early-medieval contemporary copper-alloy imitation of an early penny (sceat) of Series J (type 37; Naismith Series Ja) dating to c. AD710-25. Ref: Naismith 2017: table 4, p 78; Gannon 2013: 115-6, nos 481-5.
The coin is corroded and in poor condition, chipped and abraded around the edge with the design surviving in patches of thin silver wash.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The object is lozenge shaped in plan and flat with a large transverse attachment loop. The attachment loop measures 5.41mm thick, with an internal diameter of 6.47mm and an external diameter of 13.90mm. The object is decorated on one face with a lion rampant facing. The decoration on the opposite face appear to be similar but is too worn to be certain.

Cast copper alloy Aesica brooch dating to the Roman period. The object has sub-tubular wings. The head consists of a crest which is undecorated. The bottom corners of the head expand out to form globular knops. The head joins the bow at a right angle. The bow is expands into a fantail. A pennanular ring sits on top of the bow and loops under the head of the object. The ring is decorated with diagonal grooves. The wings are also decorated with diagonal grooves at each end. Fragment of copper-alloy purse bar dating to the early post-medieval period. The fragment has a knob-shaped terminal with grooved triangle decoration. The arm is straight and circular in cross-section, with a modern break, likely to be plough damage. Ward-Perkins in the London Museum Medieval Catalogue dates the Type B3 to c. 1500 to 1550 AD. A complete example can be seen at DENO-846107 and other fragments at YORYM-D51608, BERK-A80D01 and LEIC-736141.

Medieval copper alloy single loop sub rectangular buckle with integral buckle plate. The frame is an outwardly flaring trapezoid in plan. The integral plate's outer edge has two parallel borders and what appears to be a saltire in the central rectangle. The single attaching rivet is also retained in this rectangle. The pin is still present. The buckle may have been from a spur strap. Dates from c1250 to c1400 AD.
The length is 39mm, width 24mm, and the weight 7.7g.
Shares similarities with IOW-B6FFC8, IOW-BFAED2, DENO-AEC502, LVPL-EEFF43, NARC-5BC433, SF-90DED8, and NMS-FF2CE4.

There are one or two other specimens of this particular coin recorded - the only one with a known location is in the Ashmolean Museum. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

A copper alloy belt mount dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). It is domed with a concave rear. The object has a central oval section and has a sub-rectangular terminal at each end. Each terminal is contains a copper alloy rivet for attachment. In the centre is a circular perforation which may have held another rivet or stud.
The central lobe has been decorated with four grooves. The resulting ridges are decorated with a series of small transverse grooves. The object has a dark-green patina and is in good condition.
