Copper alloy vessel rim sherd. The inner rim edge is thickened to give it a plano-convex D cross section. There are carbon deposits on the exterior face. Similar types of cooking vessels were in use for a long period, from the 11th to the 19th centuries. Other examples on the database include GLO-9EC6C7, IOW-224162, and WAW-011FA4. Difficult to date but probably within the period from c1100 to c1900 AD, most likely 16th to mid 18th century. The length is 42mm, width 30mm, thickness 3.5mm, and the weight 24.3g.

Roman to Post-Medieval lead alloy or lead pot or vessel mend. It is sub oval in plan and roughly D-shaped in section. More precise dating is impossible as none of the vessel's fabric has been retained in the mend but is likely to date from some time betwen c43 to c1750 AD. . The length is 38mm, width 32mm, thickness 16mm, and the weight 68.5g.

A fragment from a cast copper alloy vessel dating from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period. The object is a rim fragment and is sub-triangular in plan. It is slightly curved in profile. The rim of the object flares outwards slightly creating a D-shaped in cross-section measuring 3.76mm thick. Projecting from each face is a copper alloy rivet or repair. Below this on the incomplete edge is an incomplete perforation which would probably have held another repair. The internal face has a smooth dark green patina.
