A cast copper alloy strap slide of Post-Medieval date. The object is oval in plan and slightly convex at the front. It has a 'C'-shaped lug at each end. At the centre of the inside of each lug there are the remains of an iron spike or rivet. It is decorated with a moulded radiating spiral in the centre of which is a circular depression. The object has a dark brown patina. A silver Saint Eadmund memorial penny, c.AD 895-910. Obverse, +OARI.VS (A inverted), in centre A. Reverse, +O_IICIS; cross pattee. Memorial coinage by Danish settlers. The inscriptions are blundered, which is typical of the later coins within the St Edmund series. On both sides the final letter is an S on its side, which is not unusual in this period.

A cast copper alloy annular buckle / brooch of 13th to 14th century date. The buckle is of annular type and is complete. The annular frame is circular in plan and of faceted, oval section. There is no discernible decoration on either face of the frame. There is no constriction for the pin on the frame but there is a notch. The pin is present (with a length of 15.93mm) and of consistent D-shaped section with its loop simply wrapped around the frame. The surface has a dark-brown patina. A cast copper alloy mount dating to the Medieval period, (AD1066-1500). The object is lozenge shaped in plan and flat. There is no visible decoration. The rear of the object is undecorated. The object is worn with a blackish patina and is corroded in places. There are no attachments remaining on the rear of the object. Similar lozenge shaped mounts can be found in can be found in Read, (2001), p17.

The sides are flanged. The object has a cast copper alloy pin, spindle and the integral locking arm is missing. A similar example can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p89, no. 554. It can be dated to c. AD1350-1450.

The outer edge of the frame is undecorated. File marks are visible on each face and it has a mid-green patina. Similar examples can be found in Egan & Pritchard, (1991), 'Dress Accessories', p. 234. The function of such items was probably to secure loose straps.

A cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.1660-1720. The object is a trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The outer frame is decorated with five moulded ridges at each end in a scallop-shell design. The sides of the frame are decorated with a rounded knop either end of the spindle with a double ridge to either side. The incomplete pin and chape remain attached. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition. A similar example can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p99, no.616.

A cast copper alloy furniture eschtcheon plate dating from the late 17th century. The object is sub-lozenge shaped in plan and flat. The outer face is decorated with punched annulets along the edges, and a punched flower in the centre of the incomplete end. Oval openwork decorates the object below the flower. The terminal end of the object is complete with undulating edges. A single rivet remains in-situ at the terminal end of the object. The object has a mid-brown patina.

The strap end consists of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways and secured at the open end with a single rivet. Within the strap end traces of leather remain. The object has a dark green patina and can be dated from c.1150-1450. Similar examples can be found in Egan and Pritchard, (1991), p125-131.

The terminal end is decorated with a projecting collared acorn knop. The object has a mid brown patina and is in fair condition. A similar example can be found in Egan and Pritchard, (1991), p141, no.651 and 652. The object can be dated from c. AD 1350-1400.
