A copper-alloy seal matrix, dating from the Medieval period. The die is discoidal, its printing face bearing a deeply engraved central image and surrounding legend. The central motif displays a eight petalled flower which is surrounded by the legend FRANGE LEGE TEGE ('break, read, conceal'). On the rear of the object is a semi-circular attachment loop. The object has a mid-green patina and is in fair condition. An incomplete copper alloy non-heraldic personal seal matrix of probable Medieval, thirteenth century date. The object is oval in plan with a central motif of a male bust facing right (when viewed from the impression). The bust have wavy hair reaching the nape of the neck and an upturned face with a rounded chin, pointed nose and downturned mouth. The top of the head is flattened possibly indicating a tonsure. A cast copper alloy seal matrix dating from the Post-Medieval to Modern period. The object is cast in one piece, is conical and octagonally facetted. At the top of the object is an oval suspension loop which is surmounted by a small oval knop. Just below the loop is a circumferential collar. The actual face of the seal carries a design of cross-hatching in the form of projecting lozenges. The object is corroded and dark brown in colour. A cast copper alloy impersonal Medieval seal matrix. The object is shield-shaped in plan and is flat. The die features a well-defined bird facing right. Surrounding this the seal reads +SIGILLVM SCERETI, which translates directly as 'seal secret'. On the rear face there is an integrally cast sub-circular suspension loop at the centre top. It has a circular perforation with an internal diameter of 3mm. The object has a dark brown patina and is in good condition.

Cast copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The matrix is a pointed oval (vessica) shape in plan. The central motif is of a monstrous sea creature with a human head. The legend reads + S' FRIS' IOhIS D' LA BRVERE which can be translated as 'Seal of Brother John of the Bruere'. There is a line above the I of FRIS denoting an abbreviation On the reverse is a central rib with a perforated lug at the top of the seal. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition. It can be dated to the 13th century. The place La Bruere has not yet been identified.

A cast copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The object is lozenge shaped in plan. The central motif depicts the Madonna crowned with the Christ child on her left knee. To the left of the figures is a moon and to the right a star. The legend reads starMAT DEI MEMENTO MEI which can be translated as 'Mother of God remember me'. On the reverse is a central rib with a perforated lug at the top of the seal. The object has a smooth dark green patina and is in good condition.

Surrounding this the legend reads F' WYO..S' FIL EXAL. On the reverse of the object is an integrally cast lug which has been folded over resulting in a small perforation. Below the lug is a moulded cross. The object has a mid-grey patina and can be dated from 1200-1400AD.

An incomplete lead seal matrix of Medieval date. It is flat and pointed oval in shape with an integrally cast lug on the reverse. The lug has broken in the centre. In the centre of the seal is a cross with both the vertical and horizontal limbs being ears of corn. The inscription reads WILL..NI.VIE…I. The inscription is unclear due to a bend in the object and also due to wear. A similar example which can be found on the database is IHS-E0E331.

Cast lead seal dating to the 13th century. It is circular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The inscription reads S’ ROBERTI DE RID, meaning seal of Robert of Rid. The central design is of a sun and the circular central perforation forms the central part of the sun. The edges have been damaged and it has a mid white patina. It is possible that a small handle protruded from one of the broken edges as can be seen on LEIC-FA9BC7.
