A flint tanged flake or scraper of prehistoric date. The flint is oval in plan and slightly curved in profile. Projecting from the base of the tool is a sub-rectangular tang. A small bulb of percussion is present on the ventral face. Each of the long edges have been retouched with short, parallel, low angle retouch. Some cortex remains on the distal end of both the dorsal (upper) and ventral (lower) face. The flint has a light yellowish brown patina. Dimensions: 40mm in length, 25mm of width, 6mm thick, 6.2g

A flint flake of prehistoric date. The flint is a pointed oval in plan and wedge shaped in cross-section. The flint is water-worn with a mottled light to toffee brown patina. Notches along the thin edge may be worked however the edge is damaged and it is therefore difficult to be certain. The thin long edge measures 1.5mm thick with the flint expanding in thickness to the other size at 9mm. Dimensions: 50mm in length, 20mm in with, 9mm thick, 7.8g.

A post-medieval/modern gun-flint from a flintlock musket. The flint is rectangular in plan and cross-section with sloping edges to give it a trapezoidal side view. The flint is mid-grey in colour. The flintlock was introduced in the middle of the 16th century but it was not until the reign of William III that the flintlock became the main regulation firearm for the British Army. A flint oblique arrowhead dating to the late Neolithic period, (2700BC - 2351BC). The object is sub-triangular and asymmetrical. Each face has invasive, scaled, low angle retouch. The arrowhead has been made from a light grey and white mottled flint.

A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead dating from the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age period. The object is triangular in plan with two notches in the base between the central tang and a barb at either side. The tang tapers towards its base. The object has been finely worked on each side including on the tang and barbs. The flint is a light white colour.
