A cast copper alloy seal matrix dating from the Post-Medieval to Modern period. The object is cast in one piece, is conical and octagonally facetted. At the top of the object is a hexagonal suspension loop with a perforation which measures 3mm in diameter. Each edge of the loop is decorated with a fleur-de-lis surrounded by gilding. The face of the seal carries a design of cross-hatching in the form of projecting lozenges. Each face of the stem is decorated with foliate decoration and gilding. A complete copper alloy of Medieval date, (AD 1250-1450). The object is circular in plan with a hexagonally faceted handle. At the top of the handle is lozenge-shaped suspension loop with circular perforation which has an internal diameter of 3mm. The central motif depicts a kneeling figure, probably Mary on the left (when impressed, right when viewed facing), with hands together in prayer. An incomplete cast copper alloy seal matrix of Medieval date, (AD 1250-1450). The object is circular in plan with a six sided faceted handle extending from the reverse. At the top of the handle is a circular suspension loop with an internal diameter of 3.5mm. From an impression, the die depicts an image of a person holding a child. An incomplete cast copper alloy seal matrix of Medieval date, (AD 1250-1450). The object is circular in plan with a six sided faceted handle extending from the reverse. At the top of the handle is a circular suspension loop with an internal diameter of 3.23mm. The central motif is a boat with a semi-circular hull, mast and two lines of rigging. The design is surrounded by an inscription which reads: ":S'OIVOLAEIA". The object has a dark green patina and is in fair condition.

Cast copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The object is shield shaped in plan. The reverse has an integrally cast suspension loop. The central motif is possibly a heraldry inspired design with a saltire with cross to left and right and crescent below. The seal reads: S'Lorens * Sovin, which possibly translates as Seal of Laurence of Sovin. The object has a mid brown patina and is in good condition.

Cast copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The seal has a circular face with a hexagonally faceted shaft. The object has a quatrefoil attachment loop. The seal matrix has a central device depicting a lamb and flag, around which is the inscription 'ECCE AGNVS DEI'. This translates from the Latin as 'Behold the lamb of God'. Seals with the Lamb of God design were quite common in the fourteenth century, especially in the 1330s. A similar example is no.13, p36, E & P Saunders, (1991). A cast copper-alloy seal matrix of medieval date, (1100-1500). The matrix is a pointed oval in plan and flat in profile. The die features a central motif surrounded by a marginal incised inscription. The remains of a circular suspension loop are on the reverse. The object is worn and both the motif and the legend unclear. The motif is possibly of an ear of corn, while the legend may read (HUINA..ACRACLS). The object is worn and has a mid-green patina.
