An incomplete copper alloy pipe tamper, of Post Medieval dating (Late 17th Century AD). The stem of the object is missing while the decorative terminal remains. The terminal is in the form of the bust of the monarch, wearing a crown and facing forwards. The crown is double arched. The bust has long wavy shoulder length hair. The face has prominent eyebrows, sub circular eyes, a triangular nose, a wide moustache and possibly a short beard on his chin. Cast copper alloy harness pendant dating from the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is cruciform with central circular openwork. The openwork has a diameter of 3.03mm. The pendant has an unusual suspension mount which has a rounded pierced terminal and forked ends. The pendant is attached to the mount by a rivet running though both ends of the mount and through the pendant. A similar pendant can be found on p. 57, fig.450 of Read, (2001).

A hoard consisting of 101 Roman silver coins of the denomination known as a denarius (plural denarii ) and 2 copper alloy coins of the denomination known as a sestertius (plural sestertii). The earliest coin in the group is a legionary denarius of Mark Antony (issued c. 32BC-31BC) and the latest a denarius of Commodus dated to AD 190-191. A copper alloy trapezoidal shoe or knee double looped buckle of post medieval date c.1660-1720. The frame is drilled for a separate spindle. The spindle and pin are missing. The object has moulded bifid sides with a moulded bifid knop around the spindle. Each end of the frame has a moulded pin rest flanked by two lobed knops. The remains of iron staining are visible on one end of the buckle frame. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. An incomplete fragment from the base of a Samian ware vessel. The object has a ring foot and is the base of a cup or dish. It is sub-circular in plan. The fragment has not been stamped. The fabric is very hard is light orange in colour and has an orange/red 'satin' gloss slip on both the inner and outer surface. Peter Webster (1996) notes that red-slip coated Samian ware, made mainly in Gaul and Germany, was imported into Britain from the mid 1st to the mid 3rd centuries.
