A post-medieval (1500-1700) strap fitting (belt mount): The copper alloy strap fitting is lozenge shaped in plan . The underside of the mount has two oval sectioned inward facing integral studs or lugs. These studs would pass through the strap leather and hold the fitting in place. In the centre of the rear of the brooch is a circular depression which may have held a central boss in place on the outer face. The outer face is decorated with a recessed central lozenge shaped panel. The outer surface of the mount is heavily abraded and has a dark green patina.

A lead alloy plaque or brothel token of post-medieval date. It is a flat, rectangular token with a raised border and depicts two naked figures performing a sexual act. The reverse is undecorated but uneven.
The scene shows a tree or cave wall emerging from the ground on the right-hand side of the scene. Standing on the ground and beneath the canopy area, a male and female figure are depicted engaged in sexual intercourse. A cast copper alloy mount, possibly from a belt, of post medieval date. The object is oval in plan and slightly domed with a hollow underside. There is a small piercing near the narrowed top of the object. There are two flattened circular studs on the underside near the bottom. These are 9mm in diameter and appear to be integral to the object. The face of the object is decorated using finely engraved lines. A copper alloy acorn mount dating to the post-medieval period, (1500-1700). The object which is in the form of an acorn, is convex at the front and concave at the rear. The cupola is decorated with cross-hatching and a small rounded projection representing the stalk projects from the base. The nut is decorated with five diagonal grooves. On the rear of the object are the remains two integral spikes for attachment. Traces of gilding can be seen on the front of the mount. The object has a mid-green patina.

A silvered copper alloy tombac button of post-medieval date. The object is circular in plan and is domed. The back of the button and the loop is missing revealing the copper alloy concave rear. The buckle is decorated with an engraved seven pointed star with a central boss. Between each point of the star are 6 grooves.
Dimensions: 15mm in diameter, 5.5mm thick, 1.7g.
Similar examples can be found in Bailey, (2004) p 54 which have been dated to the 18th century.

A copper alloy strap fitting of probable post-medieval date, c. AD 1600-1700. The object is sub-triangular in plan and is curved in profile with a forward facing hook. Above the hook on the face of the object is a corroded rivet. Above the rivet two vertical grooves decorate the outer face of the object. The object is incomplete and has a dark brownish black patina.
Dimensions: 30mm in length, 14mm in width, 6mm thick, (from rear to front of hook), 1mm thick (plate), 2.9g.
Hooked objects of a similar form include sword belt mounts such as LVPL-CBD0A8 and DOR-5815DC.

A copper alloy early post-medieval dress hook of Read's Class E, Type 8. The object is sub-circular in plan with a sub-rectangular attachment loop and a complete rearward facing hook. The object is decorated with a moulded flower, probably a rose, in relief. The flower has five petals. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. It has a dark brown patina.

A copper alloy early post-medieval dress hook of Read's Class D, Type 6. The object is trefoil in plan with a complete rearward facing hook. The object consists of a copper alloy back plate with undulating edges and three hollow-domed bosses each of which has three circles of twisted wire and six raised pellets. In the centre of the trefoil is a raised wire circle or collet which may have held a stone. A separate soldered wire loop and wire hook are attached to the rear of the back plate. The object has a mid-green patina and silvering is visible on each face.

An incomplete copper alloy dress hook of post-medieval date. The object is in the form of a moulded scallop shell with a curved edge which is beaded and engrailed. There is a rounded knop at the juncture of the plate and the hook. The hook which is rearward facing is broken where it begins to curve. The sub-rectangular attachment loop is missing however the small scallop shell knop at either side remains. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition.

An incomplete copper alloy double looped buckle of Post-Medieval date. The buckle would have been trapezoidal when complete however only one loop and the strap bar remains. The rear of the object is flat and the pin is missing. The remaining loop has a pointed expanded outer frame while either side of the strap bar is a lobed protrusion. The buckle frame is decorated with a series of stamped circles or rings.
The buckle has a mid-brown patina. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead (2003), p82-83, nos.514-515 which have been dated to c.1620-1680.

A lead-alloy token dating to the Post-Medieval period. This type of token is known as 'Lyon counter', and dates c. 1575-1589. The obverse of the token depicts a lion facing left, rampant, within a circular border in the form of a belt or garter. At the top of the token above the lion, a tri-lobed crown is visible. The legend set within the circular border (now largely illegible) would have originally read; 'HONI SOI QUI MAL Y PE', the motto of the order of the garter. Two complete forged, wrought iron horse shoes probably dating to the Post-Medieval period. Each horse shoe is U-shaped in plan and obscured by corrosion.
Large horse shoe: the horseshoe narrows towards the rear and is wider at each side due to wear and has thickened a heel calkin at each terminus. Three large sub-rectangular rivets remain in situ. The object is covered with an adhering black substance which may be a carbon deposit. The object is corroded.

A gold mourning ring. Treasure case: 2017 T450.
A Post-Medieval gold mourning ring. The bezel is round in plan and holds a rock crystal through which can be seen a gold wire monogram of two letters (IR) surmounted by a crown and all contained within a gold wire border. The underside of the bezel features a series of flutes decorated with black and white enamel.
The shoulders of the hoop are decorated with black enamelling in a simple foliate design. The remainder of the hoop, interior and exterior, is plain, though distorted.

A copper alloy double looped buckle, with an integral cast suspension loop, of post-medieval date (1500 -1630). The frame of the buckle is oval in plan and D shaped in cross section. A central integral cast bar divides the buckle frame into two even loops. This bar is rectangular in plan and sub-oval in cross section. On the lower edge is an incomplete centrally positioned integral cast suspension loop. This loop is set at 90 degrees to the plane of the buckle. There is no remaining patina on the object which has a rough brown surface.
