A Post-Medieval lead alloy powder measure cap, dating to the period c1600-1700. The object is distorted but would have been cylindrical and has a circular base and an open top. One side of the rim is incomplete. At the base of the object is one complete attachment loop and one incomplete loop. The object is mottled mid-grey in colour.

A post medieval copper alloy trade token half penny. Obverse description: A swan facing left, on cross hatching (possibly a nest), wings outstretched. Obverse inscription: worn. Reverse description: HKR/[ ]RN/star star star/ 16[ ] Reverse inscription: worn. Examples of tokens of a similar date featuring swans include LON-8605D5, SUSS-C4845C and PUBLIC-06C8E2. Notes: Copper alloy trade tokens were first struck in 1648. In 1656 half penny tokens were introduced. 1674 by Royal decree production of trade tokens ceased. Pers comm Verity Anthony (LON-8605D5).

A sherd from the base of a glass bottle, dating to the c. AD 17th - 19th Century. The fragment is slightly corroded giving some areas more of a brown colour. Other areas appear like a dark blue which goes somewhat multi-coloured in the light, showing greens and pinks. It weighs 29.5g, and is c. 37mm in length, c. 51mm in width and c. 10mm thick.

A pottery rim sherd of moulded slip ware from the Post Medieval period, specifically c. AD 1701-1800. The fragment is very slightly curved and is orange in colour with a medium density of dark coloured inclusions, its fabric being hard earthenware. The edge of the rim has a notched, 'pie-crust' looking decoration which was common on 18th Century plates. The thin slip decoration is a yellow colour with dark brown coloured lines and circles along it. It weighs 23.4g, and is c. 47mm in length at the longest point, c. 56mm in width and c. 5mm thick.

An incomplete post medieval spoon, dating from about AD 1550 - 1650. Only the knop and part of the handle remains. The knop is of the 'seal top' or 'baluster seal' type. The terminus has a flat circular disc which tapers down to a waist and then expands into a globular baluster. This narrows before expanding to a moulded band below. The knop narrows to the handle which is oval in cross section and tapers in width towards a worn break where it terminates. The object has a dark brown patina. An incomplete copper alloy miniature toy cannon of post-medieval date, dating 17th-19th century. These models were produced as complete working models of their larger counterparts. The object consists of an elongated bulbous cascable, a vent hole and the remains of one trunnion which protrudes from one side of the object. The opposite trunnion is missing due to an ancient break. These would have enabled the piece to be elevated and mounted onto a wooden wheeled carriage. An incomplete copper alloy dress hook, of Read's Class E, Type 3, dating to the early post-medieval period. The object is circular in plan and flat with a rectangular attachment loop. The hook is missing due to an ancient break. The dress hook is decorated with an equal-armed cross with a central pellet within a linear circle and surrounded by openwork. The outer edge of the object is engrailed and beaded. The object has a mid green-brown patina. Treasure Case: 2017 T65 A fragment of a silver handle of post-medieval date, possibly from a seal matrix. The handle has is in the form of an openwork trefoil with a projecting rounded knop at the top. Oval lobes decorate the object above and below the lower openwork ovals, one on each side. Below the trefoil the object thickens and narrows forming the top of the neck of the handle which is hexagonal in cross-section. The object terminates with a recent break. The object consists of a copper alloy back plate with undulating edges and three hollow-domed bosses each of which has three circles of twisted wire and six raised pellets. A Post-medieval, copper alloy coin weight for the second coinage Rose Ryal of James I, dating from AD 1612 - 1632. It is square in plan and flat, with champfered sides. The upper surface carries the mark of value XXXIII beneath a crown and above a letter S, all within a beaded circle. There is a countermark of a crowned I at 11.00. The reverse carries the device of a shield of British arms superimposed on a rose, all within a beaded circle. The die axis is 3o'clock. The weight has dark green patina and is in good condition. Dimensions: 13.15g, 21mmin length, 21mm in width, 4mm thick.
