A copper alloy fragment of a spur of post-medieval date. The surviving fragment consists of an incomplete arm with an integral figure of eight terminal. This is where the connecting and securing buckles would have been located. The incomplete end terminates with an ancient break. The arm is D-shaped in cross-section. A complete copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object consists of a long hook, measuring 85mm in length before it curves, tapering in width to a rounded point. The hook is circular in cross-section. At the top of the object the hook expands and flattens to form an integral loop. The loop has an internal diameter of 14mm. A complete copper alloy probable toggle, or possible awl, of uncertain dating, but probably Post Medieval (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The probable toggle is a pointed oval shape with a circular cross section. Both ends narrow to a blunt point. A narrowed waist is present at the centre. The probable toggle is a greyish-green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss in some of the surface detail. A Post Medieval lead-alloy button, dating late 16th-17th century. The button is convex with flat back and decorated with worn moulding and a central pellet. Four moulded lines radiate out from the central pellet to the button's edge. Between each moulded line the button is decorated with worn cross-hatching. The button has an integral looped shank now slightly bent and pierced for attachment. A casting seam is visible on the back of the button. The object has a mid-grey patina. The object has a polyhedral headed, that is a cuboid with its corners cut off, terminal from the base of which an oval sectioned arm extends. The arm thickens towards the attachment end and narrows forming a waste before flaring out into a circular concave attachment. Within the rear of the attachment a rod of corroded iron extends.
