A flint core of Mesolithic to early Neolithic date. The object is conical with one platform at the top of the object and parallel striking down one face. Ripples are visible where one flake has been removed and at least four blades. On the opposite face an area of cortex remains to the side of which the core is a mottled blueish-white and yellow colour due to discolouration from the soil. A flint flake of prehistoric date. The flint is a pointed oval in plan and wedge shaped in cross-section. The flint is water-worn with a mottled light to toffee brown patina. Notches along the thin edge may be worked however the edge is damaged and it is therefore difficult to be certain. The thin long edge measures 1.5mm thick with the flint expanding in thickness to the other size at 9mm. Dimensions: 50mm in length, 20mm in with, 9mm thick, 7.8g.

A small piece of flint of uncertain date. It is oval in plan and triangular in cross-section. The fragment has been water worn resulting in a gloss covering. This gloss makes the typical features of a struck flint very difficult to identify. The flint is a natural shape which occurs with broken fragments of flint, and it is not likely that it was decisively struck. The longest edge has been chipped. This may be due to ware while in the water or ice, however the fragment may also have been picked up and used at some stage. It has a toffee-brown patina.

Flint knife dating to the Mesolithic period, (8300-4500BC). It is sub-circular in plan and conical in cross-section. The dorsal face is covered with ridges and scars of earlier removals. Ripples are visible on the ventral face. One side of the object is slightly thicker where it would have sat in the hand, while the other side tapers to create a sharp cutting edge. It has a whitish grey patina.

Flint scraper dating to the Mesolithic period, (8300-4500BC). It is sub-oval in plan and slightly curved in profile. The striking platform and bulb of percussion can be identified at the proximal end. The striking platform is plain. The dorsal face has ridges and a number of scars of previous removals. Conchoidal ripples can be seen on the ventral face and the edges of the flint have been retouched. It has a smooth toffee coloured patina.

Flint scraper dating to the Mesolithic period, (8300-4500BC). It is sub-oval in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The object has a slightly curved profile and is thicker at one end. Ripples are visible on both the dorsal and the ventral face. It has been retouched down two of its sides as well as along the ends. It has a smooth dark black patina.
