An incomplete lead alloy plumbob dating to the Medieval period. The weight is oval in plan and cross-section with a central decorated panel on each face. The decorated panel on each face sits within an oval depression with the decoration on one face consisting of a zig-zag ridge running the length of the panel with three pellets between each turn of the ridge. The opposite face of the object is decorated with an scroll pattern.

A medieval lead shield-shaped weight. It has a stepped perimeter and expands in width to the base. The raised body is decorated with three lions passant guardant to the right. The reverse is undecorated and has a rectangular perforation at the top; the perforation is sub-oval on the front of the object and was probably used for attachment. The object has a light brownish-cream patina and is in good condition.
Dimensions: 56mm in length, 38mm in width, 13mm thick, 233.4g.

A medieval gold Venetian ducat of Doge Francesco Foscari (1423-57), mint: Venice (Zecca). CNI 60-74 (probably 68). Ref: CNI vol.VII (Venice/Venezia), p. 131-3.
The coin is struck on an irregular flan (it is not clipped), fairly typical of this coinage. The imperfect punches used in the production of the coin are also consistent with other examples.

A complete and slightly misshapen silver-gilt finger-ring. Treasure case no 2016 T545.
A silver ornamental ring, broad flat band with a beaded borders within circumferential ridges. The ring is inscribed with 'star GODDRED'. The band has been cut between each D in the centre of the name with a D either side of the cut.

A gold and gem medieval brooch of 12th century date. The brooch is annular, circular in plan with eight raised collets set equally spaced around the frame. Each collet contains a gem of alternating garnets and sapphires. Between each gem is a raised boss with punched decoration and surmounted by an open fruit pod. Both the internal and external edge of the frame is beaded.

A lead seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, c.13th century. It is pointed oval and flat, and now worn. The central device is a star, pattern or perhaps a flower, of eight radiating lines. Four (at the cardinal points) are simple lines but the ones in the angles are nail-like, each ending in a crossbar. Surrounding this is a worn groove.

A complete copper-alloy, two part enamelled and gilded harness pendant of Medieval date, c. AD1250-1400.
The outer frame is an elaborate sexfoil in shape with an open centre within which a sexfoil pendant sits. Between each of the cinquefoil projections a raised collared projection sits.

A cast lead spindle whorl dating from the Medieval period. It is circular and bi-conical with a central circular perforation measuring 8.83mm in diameter. Each face of the object is decorated with what may have been intended as relief letters in a capital Roman script. The script is surrounded by a moulded circumferential ridge. The object has a dark grey patina and is damaged around the perforation. A large chip is missing from the outer edge on one side due to recent damage, probably from the plough.

A gold Medieval finger-ring consisting of a simple undecorated hoop, a faceted bezel and small shoulders. The object has a hexagonal bezel, integral to the hoop, containing a light blue stone, probably a sapphire. The bezel is faceted, with some bevelling on the lower surface around a flat base. The bezel measures 8.50mm in width and 10.11mm in length. The hoop is oval and is misshaped due to damage. The hoop consists of a thin strip of gold. Each edge of the hoop is bevelled giving it a thin trapezoidal cross-section.

A Silver finger ring of Medieval date, 2014 T616. The finger ring has a circular band, 2.98mm wide which widens to the shoulders to a width of 6.47mm. There is a circular collet with a beveled edge at the bezel with no longer contains a setting. The hoop has been bent out of shape with the shoulder on one side breaking away from the centre of the base of the collet. The shoulders are stamped with shallow and worn decoration consisting of a central inverted triangle either side of which is a worn sub-oval shape.

An incomplete and damaged medieval silver artefact, possibly a brooch, with traces of gilding. The object is square in cross-section, with two of the rims decorated with an incised zigzag pattern. It is broken at both ends, with one terminating in a plain tip.
In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

A medieval silver fragment in the shape of a bearded male head dating to the late fourteenth or fifteenth century. The beard is forked and the hair of the fragment is parted between a rising tuft in the middle of the scalp. The face is worn with the nose now rubbed away. The reverse of the fragment shows a small pin which has broken. There is also a breakage at the small tuft of hair on the head of the object. The object was cast and the pin was integral to this process as there are no signs of soldering on the reverse.
