A copper alloy zoomorphic object of uncertain function. The object has a circular perforated fitting the hoop of which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. From this extends a long rectangular sectioned 'neck' with a zoomorphic snake-like terminal. The animal head has an open mouth with tongue projecting and ridged brows. Above the ropework is a rim which is sub-triangular in cross section while below is a deep groove. The lower half of the object is undecorated and has a broken edge. A silver cut quarter long cross penny of Edward I - Edward III (AD 1272-1377). Reverse: [ ]; long cross dividing legend, three pellets in each quarter. The coin is worn with no visible legend and therefore cannot be attributed to a specific ruler. Although neatly cut along one edge the opposite edge appears to have been torn rather than cut and as such this may in fact be a cut half-penny which has been damaged by the plough rather than deliberately cut in quarter. Dimensions: 13mm in length, 9mm in width, 0.35g.

An incomplete medieval copper alloy rotary key. The key handle (bow) is in the shape of a flat lozenge with four circular perforations. The upper point of the lozenge is surmounted with a, squat cylindrical terminal which is D-shaped in cross-section. Two incomplete piercings or perforations are on the base of the terminal. Each side of the handle has a flattened trapezoidal projection. A pottery body sherd thought to probably be part of a strainer/colander, dating to the medieval period. The fragment is orange-brown in colour implying oxidising firing conditions with a thin brown-grey layer on one side. The fragment contains three holes in it which are angled. The fabric appears to be hard earthenware and there are a few small, dark coloured inclusions visible along the surface of the sherd. It weighs 11g, and is c. 28mm in length, c. 40mm in width and c. 8mm thick
