A near-complete copper alloy Roman nail cleaner dating from the first or second century AD. The nail cleaner has a slender leaf-shaped blade which tapers to a bifuricated tip, the cleaner, which is slightly damaged. There is no visible decoration on the balde. The nail cleaner has a suspension loop set perpendicular to the blade which extends from the blades rounded shoulders. Similar to Crummy's (1981) Type 2a, dating from c. AD 43-200.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type, dating to the period AD 75-175. Only the pin is missing. The semi-cylindrical open wings are decorated at the front with transverse ridges/mouldings. The wings have an integral flat end-cap. The end-cap is pierced for the axis bar around which is the coiled spring. The front of the bow is decorated with a central longitudinal ridge which is flanked on either side by a shallow ridge. A near complete cast copper alloy strap fitting or decorative mount of post-medieval date (c. AD 1600 - c. AD 1800). The mount is roughly square in plan with rounded corners, a raised central knop ans stems between each of the four corner lobes. There is a circular aperture within each lobe. On the reverse of the mount are two integrslly cast spikes for insertion into a leather strap - one is incomplete. This decorative strap fitting is similar to one illustrated in 'Detector Finds' (Bailey 1995, 87 no 10). It is believed to be 17th century in date and used to decorate horse harness straps.

A small and worn copper alloy object of probable early Roman date (c. AD 43-200). The object, possibly part of a brooch or fitting, is slightly oval in plan with a small, rectangular 'tab' projecting from one edge, which is broken and incomplete. Within the face of the fitting is a cinquefoil annulet design set within a recessed circular field which would have been filled with enamel but of which none now survives.
