A copper alloy radiate of Claudius II dating from 268-270 AD (Reece Period 13). The reverse legend is [P]AX AVG and shows Pax running left, holding an olive branch and transverse sceptre. Mintmark T. Reference RIC 157-158.
The coin has been misstruck, resulting in an oval shape and part of the legends being cut off.

One sherd of handmade medieval pottery dating to late 12th century to early 14th century. The sherd is pink/buff in colour has abundant sandy grain inclusions ranging from <0.5mm to 2mm. The coarseness of the inclusions results in an uneven 'pimply' surface texture. The glaze is olive green, thin and patchy. It is possibly a South-east Wiltshire ware. The sherd is probably from a jar. It measures 27mm wide, 31mm long, 5mm thick and weighs 7.5 grams.

Three sherds of wheel thrown pottery dating to the post-medieval period (1500-1700). The fabric is a coarse glazed redware. The only inclusions are very occasional ill-sorted stones ranging from 1mm to 5mm. The sherds have an orange core and where glaze is absent; the surface has a patchy orange/brown colour. An Early-Medieval copper-alloy strap-end. This strap-end is a Thomas class A, Type 1 Trewhiddle style, of 9th century AD date. The object weighs 6.16 grams, measures 46.23 long, 10.88 wide and 2.17 thick. The terminal is animal-headed and is separated from the rest of the strap end by an iron rivet which has been punched through the body from the reverse and flattened on either side. An incomplete enamelled copper alloy umbonate plate brooch, dating to AD 100 to AD 250.
Approximately 80% of the brooch is present, with only the pin missing.
The brooch is a hollow dome shape, with two projecting knops and two projecting lugs at the four compass points. The top consists of a domed boss, with two concentric circles of triangular enamelled cells, arranged around a central circular dipped cell. Seven fragments of Roman (AD 43-410) box flue tile, measuring between 30 and 94mm. The fragments weigh 309.8 grams in total. The decoration comprises rolled or combed grooves. The tiles are orange or orange/red and five have a reduced grey core. Box flue tiles were used to create flues in the walls of building, through which hot air generated by the hypocaust system would pass. The grooves decorating the surfaces were key to improving the adhesion of the tile to wall plaster. The presence of flue tiles for a hypocaust suggest a substantial building.
