An incomplete copper alloy Roman bracelet, consisting of a long piece of undecorated copper alloy. Closest to the terminal this is slightly flattened, however after a few centimetres it becomes rounded in section before again becoming flattened, presumably prior to the second terminal which has now been lost. The surviving terminal consists of a seperate piece of metal, thinner in the middle, folded in half and then riveted on to the end of the bracelet to form a loop. The bracelet is heavily corroded and bent out of shape. As already noted one terminal, and likely a portion of the bra…

A cast copper alloy strap fitting. The object comprises a circular loop, cast integrally to two long rectangular sectioned arms, with rounded ends. The arms each have two drilled holes in them. These holes contain copper alloy rivets. The rivet heads can clearly be seen on the outer surfaces of the arms. The metal is a mid greyish-green colour and it is pitted. The rivets would have held a strap in place and the loop would have been joined to a second loop or strap which is now missing.
