A complete Early Bronze Age cast copper-alloy late flanged axe (c. 1700-1500 BC). The blade of the axe is slightly flared to the blade tips, and the blade cutting edge is a deep symmetrical convex shape. The cutting edge is rounded due to abrasion. In profile the blade is sub-triangular with the widest section being before the flange facets. Body and haft end of the axe has almost straight sides which taper slightly at the butt, which is straight at the terminal. Solid gold penannular bracelet with slightly expanded terminals. Bracelet is light gold in colour, whole and undecorated. The terminals have been flattened, producing a small rim. Both faces of the terminals measure 9mm across and have minor indentations. The bracelet has a circular cross-section. A flat beaten gold D-shaped fragment. The shiny light yellow surfaces are scratched on both sides. In cross section the straight edge shows half the thickness as having been cut sharply and the other half displays the rough bubbles. The curved edge shows the metal to have been beaten and polished. Discussion It appears that this light gold object indicates was attached to another piece of metal. Otherwise there are no diagnostic features that could provide a date.

Incomplete Bronze Age copper alloy cast palstave axe head with a square profile at the hafting end measuring 19.6mm in length and width. The axe widens to its cutting edge, creating a triangular long cross section. The cutting edge, the widest point, is 32.5mm wide and 2.6mm thick, there is a small piece broken off one corner. Miniture Middle Bronze Age palstave (flat axe with stop ridge and wings). The palstave has a convex curved blade 28.4mm long. The sides curve inwards from the blade, abruptly at first and then more gently, to 14.5mm wide at the stop ridge; they then continue to taper slightly to 12.1mm wide at the rounded butt. There is a clear curved stop ridge about half way along the axe, beyond which the butt is thinned with a recessed area on each side between the slight wings.
