A complete Early Bronze Age cast copper-alloy late flanged axe (c. 1700-1500 BC). The blade of the axe is slightly flared to the blade tips, and the blade cutting edge is a deep symmetrical convex shape. The cutting edge is rounded due to abrasion. In profile the blade is sub-triangular with the widest section being before the flange facets. Miniture Middle Bronze Age palstave (flat axe with stop ridge and wings). The palstave has a convex curved blade 28.4mm long. The sides curve inwards from the blade, abruptly at first and then more gently, to 14.5mm wide at the stop ridge; they then continue to taper slightly to 12.1mm wide at the rounded butt. The tip of a cast copper alloy socketed Bronze Age spearhead. The spear head has a hemispherical mid-rib on both sides which thins towards the point and would have continue to widen down the spear to form the socket. The rib is flanked by wide tapering blade wings with a more shaply angled edge bevel forming the cutting edge. The metal has a smooth surface with a grey patina suggesting a high tin content and patches of green corrosion in places. Late Bronze age copper alloy socketed axe (Type Meldreth) with a double mouth and a trumpet-shaped collar (Schmidt & Burgess, 1981, 205, no.1214). The body is slender and straight with an expanded blade and a loop that extends from the second, shallow mouth ridge. The surface condition of the axe is poor with one broken blade corner. The back is coated with mud while the red /brown skin on the front is worn and corroded. These areas of broken skin are porous and matte green.
