A fragment of a copper alloy possible Roman knotenfibel brooch, possibly consisting of a fragment of the bow and openwork catchplate. Overall, the fragment measures 23.4mm long, 9.1mm wide and 2.5mm thick. It weighs 1.3g. The fragment consists of a cylindrical rod which divides in two, one part continuing as a rod on the same axis as the main rod and the other part becoming flat and curving away. The fragment's surface is damaged revealing its core that appears to have a high tin content. It was submitted for consideration as Treasure, but has been declared as not Treasure.
