A piece of gritstone which has been cut into two pieces post-recovery. They have irregular broken shapes and may be parts of quern stones. It has been suggested that the gritstone represents quernstones being crushed to form a temper for the Roman pottery industry in this area. There is some pink colouration on the stones, maybe suggesting that they have been in a fire. . The piece is 67.6mm long, 53.1mm wide and 33.6mm thick. It weighs 161.8gm.

A copper alloy Roman harness fitting identified by Doncaster Museum. The mount is flat in profile and has a complex plan. There is a short section of a rectangular body, beneath which is a wider section in the shape of an elongated oval decorated with two transverse grooves. Beneath this are two flared curved wings, tapering to points, with an inverted heart shape below. A ceramic vessel body sherd dating from the Roman period. The sherd is soft grey fabric, almost entirely reduced, with white crystalline inclusions (sand?), some mica and occasional large lumps of black material. It appears to be the local greyware which was produced at the Cantley Kiln in the second and third centuries. The sherd is 55.6mm long, 51.75mm wide and 6.83mm thick. It weighs 22.5g. The edges of the sherd are abraded.

A curved fragment of pale blue-green glass, probably from an armlet or bracelet dating from the Roman period. The fragment is decorated with a two-millimetre wide rope twist decoration with entwined opaque blue and white glass running down the centre of the outer curvature. It measures 28.6 by 6.8mm and weighs 3.23gm. A parallel is number 185 on page 234 of 'Watercrook Finds' in "Romans in North West England" by T W Potter published in 'Cumberland and Westmoreland Antiquary and Archaeological Society; Research Theories Volume 1.'

A fragment of a ceramic vessel which is probably Roman. It is of a fine-grained, pale brownish-grey material with sparse black and occasional white inclusions. It is smooth on the outer surface and somewhat coarser on the interior. The sherd measures 32.7 by 32.4 by 13.8mm and weighs 10.62gm.

A fragment of a Roman ceramic vessel. A fragment of the rim of a large pottery vessel, probably a mortarium of the late 2nd century. It is of a fine-grained pale pinkish-orange material and retains traces of a cream-coloured slip on the outer surface. It measures 65.6 by 41.8 by 25.6mm and weighs 34.33gm. A similar example is number 50 in "Cantley Kilns 9-25" by Sheila M Cregeen in Yorkshire Archaeological Journal part 154, volume XXXIX, 1957.

A fragment of a Roman ceramic vessel. The pottery sherd is from a decorated vessel, possibly Parisian Ware or Rossington Bridge Fine Reduced Ware and perhaps an indented beaker. The sherd is of a very fine-grained dark brown material and is smooth on both the inner and outer surfaces. The outer surface shows part of an incised circle or oval and thinly incised horizontal lines at top and bottom of the circle. The sherd measures 32.5 by 20.9 by 3.9mm and weighs 3.35gm.
