A copper alloy radiate of Probus (AD 276-82), dating to c. AD 277 (Reece Period 14), ROMAE AETERNAE reverse type depicting Roma seated left in hexstyle temple, holding (Victory?) and sceptre; shield at side. Mint of Siscia, Fourth Issue. RIC V, pt 2, p. 96, cf. no. 737. Roma does appear to be holding a Victory which is quite faint; there does not appear to be a shield at her side. There were only two generally similar temple reverse coins in the Gloucester Hoard (CHRB XIII).

This coin has survived very well.
