Two fragments of Roman tegula. The fabric is oxidised earthenware. One fragment measures 60.45mm in length, 83.3mm wide and 43.35mm in height and has the protrusion for the imbrex to latch on to, some large quartz inclusions are visible. The second fragment measures 74.80mm in length, 9.85mm wide, 45.7mm in height and has the protrusion for the imbrex to latch on to, no large inclusions are visible. The combined weight is 289.18 grams.

Fragment of Roman tegula tile. Part of one corner with the straight end and part of the side. The outer and upper part of the upturned side is missing. On the lower face level with the end is a projecting foot, trapizoid in profile with a rounded base and rectangular in section. Bright orange fabric with abundant fine sand temper and fine grog inclusions. Date: 1st to 4th century
