An early medieval copper alloy hooked tag in two pieces dating to the period c. AD 600 - 1150 belonging to Read's Class A, Type 1. It is broadly triangular in shape and features two circular drilled perforations near the top edge. The top edge is engrailed, creating a slight scalloped effect. An incomplete copper alloy post-medieval hooked tag. The hooked tag has a circular plate which is decorated with a flower, a roperwork border is visible along the circumference of the circular plate, the reverse is concave and undecorated. At the top of the plate is an integral suspension loop. The hook is incomplete. the hooked tag is 32.9mm in length, 15.95mm wide and weighs 3.16 grams. An incomplete early post-medieval (AD 1500-1700) copper-alloy hooked tag of Read's early post-medieval Class A Type 2. The hook is incomplete due to an old break The hooked tag has a flat oval shaped plate with a slightly projecting ridged and rounded collar just before the broken hook. At the opposite end and on either side are trefoil attachment knops (or sewing holes). The front face is decorated with multiple motifs within an oval border. The reverse is undecorated.

An incomplete copper alloy Early-Medieval (AD 800 - 900) hooked tag, missing the tip of its hook and with one incomplete perforation. The surviving section of the artefact is in two fragments (the first is 21.95mm in length, 18.65mm wide and 0.7mm thick, the second is 17.2mm in length, 5.7mm wide and 0.85mm thick). The decorated hooked tag has an incomplete loop located at the tip before expanding towards the central loops which are both incomplete. The tag then tapers towards the bottom of the artefact which terminates in an incomplete hook. The hooked tag measures 34.00mm in length, 22.25mm wide, and weighs 3.44 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy hooked tag dating to the post-medieval period. A boradly square loop is visible at the top of the tag, one projections is incomplete adjacent to the main body of the tag. The body consists of a central broadly lozengeform central section which tapers towards the old break. The hooked tag is slightly worn on the front face, it is decorated with possible floral motifs. The reverse is broadly flat and undecorated. Similar examples can be found in Read, 2008 p. 95 - 96.

The artefact has survived well and all of its attributes are intact: curved hook (bent to one side), body, sub-rectangular attachment loop. An incomplete cast, copper alloy hooked tag of the early post-medieval period, dating from 1500-1600 AD. It has a trapezoidal upper loop and a circular body with seven small, equidistantly spaced knops. The body has a central, flat, area delineated by a raised ring, surrounded by seven equidistantly spaced, circular piercings, one between each of the seven knops, two further perforations are located just above the incomplete hook. The hooked tag is 32.75mm in length, 19.2mm in width, 2.55mm, thick and weighs 2.6 grams.

A complete post-medieval cast copper-alloy hooked tag (c. 16th century). The object has a central circular plate with a domed centre (the reverse is concave).
