A complete cast copper alloy pin probably of Roman date (AD43-410). The head of the pin is circular in diameter with a slightly rounded terminal beneath which is a circular collar. The shaft beneath the colour is broadly circular extending to two ridges. Below these ridges the shaft is roughly square, terminating in a point. The pin is a mid grey green colour. The length of the pin is 49.6mm, the diameter of the head is 10.6mm, and the weight 5.06 grams.
