A damaged and incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman T-shape brooch dating to around the second half of the 1st century AD. Although the brooch survives in good condition, both wings are bent, the catch-plate has been damaged due to an old break and the pin is missing. The head has tubular wings, undecorated but for a double transverse incision at tip on the upper surface. This is only visible on the right hand wing (when viewing the brooch in plan, head uppermost) as this survives, at a right angle albeit bent back slightly.
