A cast copper alloy asymetrical buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle has a scallop shell shaped extension on the semi-circular loop. The rectangular loop is decorated with pairs of parallel incised lines, there are rounded knops at the end of the loops. The upper edge of the buckle is bevelled and the reverse is undecorated. The iron pin survives and is heavily corroded. The buckle has been bent inwards slightly. Buckles of this type date to 1575-1700, a similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.92, no.583.

A Mesolithic blade fragment. The blade is broken above the distal end so there is no visible striking platform or bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The dorsal face has two parallel arises. The blade has a light grey patina on the surface.
The blade fragment is 18.95 mm in length, 9.25 mm wide and weighs 0.4 grams.

A Mesolithic to Neolithic flake fragment. The flake is broken above the ventral end. There is a visible striking platform and bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The dorsal face has a number of parallel arises on the left of the dorsal face. There are a number of small losses on the right hand side of the dorsal face which could be small scalar retouch, there is no patina on the retouch which suggests accidental damage. The flake has a light grey patina on the surface.
The flake fragment is 24.9 mm in length, 16.25 mm wide and weighs 2.1 grams.

An incomplete flint single platform core, probably of Neolithic date. The flint is mottled and light grey-grey in colour, with occasional lighter speckles in places and a glossy patina. Some cortex remains. Six main medium-large flaking scars are visible from the surving core.
The core fragment is 36.8mm in length, 19.85mm in width, 15.6mm thick and weighs 14.0 grams.

A fragment of a Medieval or Post Medieval molded lead or lead alloy window came. The fragment is sub rectangular in section which appears to have held at least two pieces of glass originally. In plan the came is square, the upper surface is smaller than the lower surface. Translucent glass survives within the came which suggests a later date.
The came measures 18.4mm in length, 18.3mm in width, 6.65mm thick and weighs 7.4 grams.

A complete cast copper-alloy cuff link of post-medieval date. The cuff link is made up of two separate octagonal discs both with a stamped design of a three masted sailing ship. The ship is facing left, the hull is decorated with dots. There is evidence of tinning on the reverse, the front is worn in places. A copper-alloy wire loop is soldered to the reverse of both discs. A longer oval loop of wire with a narrow gap at one end is slotted through the discs' loops joining the two together.
Each link is c.17.25mm wide and 3.9mm thick, a combined weight is 3.6 grams.

A complete cast copper-alloy octagnol bucke of probably Medieval date. The buckle is octagnol, the sides curve inwards in varying degrees before expanding out towards the point. The pin bar is located within a recess in the frame, similar to Medieval examples. The copper-alloy pin survives. The reverse is plain and undecorated, there are patches of iron corrosion on both the front and reverse of the buckle.
The buckle is 34.05mm in length, 31.05mm wide, 5.9mm thick and weighs 5.4 grams.

A complete cast copper-alloy padlock of post-medieval date. It is circular in form with two protruding iron lugs at the top to take the bar, the bar is corroded, the corrosion runs down the side of the padlock. Longitudinally central on both faces is a raised rectangular field. This is divided into three squares with incised borders. On the front face the central panel of the three is replaced by a keyhole with a pin in its centre. On both faces the central square is flanked on either side by a punched ring-and-dot motif.

Cast copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount) of probable post-medieval date (1500-1700). The strap fitting is irregular in plan and domed (convex) in profile; the edges are beveled. The overall decorative design consists of a central boss from which two ornamental knops extend; one from either end. There is some evidence of gilding on the upper face. The reverse face of the fitting is irregular but broadly flat and undecorated. Two cast sub-rectangular projections (hooks) extend from either end of the fitting.

A corroded cast copper-alloy end cap (terminal) from a scale-tang knife of post-medieval date (c. 17th century). The terminal is in the form of a horse's lower foot. It is curved with an oval cross-section. The foot is flat apart from a pair of raised elements at the rear representing the calkins. The frog is denoted by a triangular groove. Around this are four circular punches (two on each side parallel with each other) representing shoe nails. A copper alloy stirrup terminal dating from the early medieval period. The mount is a tubular fitting with a gap down one side and an integral end cap. There is a rounded collar about half way along the tube, below which the mount is globular and flares into a three sided shape. There is a small rounded knop at each corner of the triangular end cap. This is known as trilobite in shape and of foot-like form (see Williams, 1997, fig 5 as described in SF-030005). It had a glossy green patina with areas of reddish metal.

A copper-alloy coin weight for an angel coin of James I, Third coinage (cf. Withers 1995: 14, i).
The double-sided weight is rectangular in plan, measuring 13.75mm high, 13.1mm wide and 3.1mm thick. The obverse image (in relief) is of a crown over the letters 'XS', with a stamped, crowned letter 'I' in the top left hand corner. The reverse image depicts St. Michael, winged, standing right and spearing a dragon. Both the obverse and reverse image are contained within a beaded circular border.
The weight weighs 3.6 grams
