An incomplete cast copper alloy steelyard (scale with beam arms of unequal length), of Roman period, probably dating between 1st and 2nd Century AD. Only the arm survives which is in three pieces. The steelyard is composed by longitudinal arm with notched calibratrions which is circular shape in cross-section and measures c. 270mm in length. On end of the arm widens into a circular knop (22.15mm in diameter) while the other extends into a rectangular shape plate with three holes for the attachement of the objects and weights. The plate measures 74.65mm in length and 21.55mm in width. …

A complete Roman silver finger-ring, dating to the period c. AD 300-450. The silver ring is Brancaster Henig type XVI with a rectangular bezel and the hoop which widens slightly towards the bezel. The bezel, broadly rectangular in shape and measuring 10.01mm wide and 8.42mm in height, is flat on the inner face and slightly convex on the outer face. On the face of the bezel, there is decoration which appears to show a creature curled twice around its tail and widening towards a broad flat head, like a sea-dragon or wyrm. A complete Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy button and looped fastener with double-boss head and circular loop loop (c. 50 BC - AD 50). The object has been cast as a single piece. The double head has a maximum thickness of 5.45mm and has a damaged raised circular circumferential band. the heads are D shaped in cross section and decorated with raised decoration consisting of a raised lyre loop, both ends terminate with raised pellets, one is circular, the second is a raised trumpet coil and pellet. A fragment of a possible copper alloy cheek piece of probable early medieval date. The piece is flat and very abraded. One end terminates in a knop which then flattens and widens to what may be the beginnings of a circular loop. This loop appears to have had a central bar. The piece is 37mm in length, 23.2mm at its widest point and 3.7mm thick. It weighs 9.93 grams.
