A rim sherd of an Oxfordshire wheel made fineware. A fine micaceous fabric with a reduced light grey core and oxidised margins and surfaces. Tempered with fine sand and chalk. A ceramic rim sherd from a Roman grog-tempered vessel dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The vessel has a flattened rim. The fabric is hard and is varied in colour ranging from orange to mid grey.. It exhibits frequent poorly sorted angular inclusions of orange, grey and buff coloured grog. The sherd is 51mm in height, 69.75mm wide and weighs 49.45 grams.

A complete post-Medieval to Modern cast copper-alloy "toy" cannon of probable eighteenth to nineteenth century date (c. 1750-c. 1850). The toy is described as if it were a functioning cannon. The cascable (or cascabel) and the cascable button has a length of about 8.65m. The base ring diameter is 7.7mm. A copper-alloy 'beehive' thimble constructed from sheet metal, probably dating from 1400-1500 AD. It is squashed and there is damage to the rim but was originally dome shaped, with no division between crown and sides. Unusually, this thimble either has a double layered wall, or is in fact two thimbles which were stacked one inside the other when deposited. A incomplete, bent copper-alloy stylus of Roman date. The artefact is semi-circular in cross section with two tools, one is missing, a tool would have been located at either end. The top of the artefact thins and widens to form a triangular spatulate terminal. The stem of the stylus thickens towards the tip. The tip would have had a fine needle which is missing. The artefact has been bent upwards in the centre and is 95.60mm in length, 6.65mm thick (stem), 5.0mm thick (spatulate terminal) and weighs 10.74 grams. It is sub-rectangular and elongated in form, with a snub-nosed zoomorphic terminal and an expanded split attachment end with two rounded lobes. The lobes are pierced for attachment and contain two silver dome-headed rivets. A copper-alloy early medieval strap end dating to the period AD 750-1100. The strap end is Thomas Class B, and features a split end and tapering plate. It is sub-triangular in plan. The obverse of the strap end is divided into three panels by two pairs of transverse ridges and tapers towards the foot. The split end of the strap end shows evidence of an old break, however, the single rivet holes partially survives which would have attached the strap end to the strap material. The strap end is 37.85mm long, 7.35mm wide at its widest point and is 3.25mm thick. It weighs 3.31g.
