A silver Roman denarius of Carausius dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece Period 14), EXPECTATE VENI reverse type depicting Britannia standing right, holding standard, clasping hands with emperor standing left holding sceptre. Mintmark: -//RSR; commonly attributed to London, but to be studied further. RIC V, p. 510, no. 555. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

An incomplete medieval (AD 1100-1200) copper alloy zoomorphic gaping mouth beast buckle frame of extraordinary form, missing the lower section of the frame, its pin and plate. It measures 31.75mm in length, 22.3mm wide, 18.25mm in height and weighs 18.98 grams. The pin bar is slightly offset and narrowed and narrows in the centre to hold the pin which is now missing. The pin bar is circular in cross section. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy T-shaped brooch of large, south-western ttype, with hinge mechanism. It is missing the lower bow and catchplate and the pin. It measures 44.65mm in incomplete length and weighs 14.48grams. The 30.95mm wide wings are tubular (c.5.7mm diameter) with a large recessed pin slot on the reverse. To the front the bow extends from the top of the wings (13.6mm wide), and above projects the 9.3mm wide plate head, which is in the form of a moulded step. Incomplete copper alloy Late Iron Age to Roman strip brooch. The pin, part of the head, the foot and catch plate are missing. The majority of the head is missing, one incomplete wing survives. The head continues seamlessly into the bow. The bow consists of a strip of metal, tapering slightly towards the break before the foot. An incomplete cast copper alloy spoon dating to the second or third centuries AD. The fragment comprises the pear-shaped bowl and a short length of the offset handle. The bowl is pear shaped in form, making it a Type 2 spoon in Crummy's (1983, 69) classification. It is plain with some abrasions to the rim and some accretions and losses of patina as a result of corrosion. At the narrow end are the vestiges of the junction with the handle, triangular in cross-section. Length: 36.9mm, Width 24.45mm, Thickness 3.9mm, Weight: 8.33g

An incomplete long nail cleaner from a toilet set probably of Roman date. The object consists of a long, flat strip of metal with a 'V' shape cut into one end. The artefact is incomplete due to an old break, there is a central V shaped vertical incision running down the length of the surviving object.
