A fragment of a copper alloy Roman figurine dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. Only the hand survives and is broken off at the wrist. The break at the wrist meaasures 7.25mm in width and is 5.6mm thick. The hand is holding a rectangular box with an open lid. The raised lid is slightly bent. The fingers are wrapped around the box and pointing upwards. The box contains incence depicted as numerous circular projections. Two handmade sherds from 12th to 13th century cooking jars, consisting of one rim sherd and one body sherd. The fragments have a general mid orange fabric with some red fabric with some reduced grey cores. The fabric has been tempered with c.20 - 25% poorly sorted small to medium, angular and rounded quartzite rocks, chert and flint. Voids are evident in the fabric which are consistent with missing temper. The rim sherd has a thickened rim on the outerside with a stright flat top. An incomplete bunghole from a Post-medieval cistern. The spout is small and sub-oval in shape around fifty percent of the spout survived. A small amount of the wall of the vessel remains attached around the edges. The surfaces of the shard are an oxidised orange colour, with patches of a brownish glaze in places on the outer face, the sherd is abraded. The fabric is fine and sandy in texture. Incomplete cast copper alloy post-medieval double loop buckle frame. One loop has been lost from old breaks and the pin is missing. The other is D shaped in profile with an expanded outer edge and two incisions in the centre of the loop before a projecting knop forming a pin rest. The centre bar is recessed and narrowed, there are projecting knobs at both ends, outlined by grooves across the frame, there are also two incisions on each knop forming a basic V shape. Copper alloy cast spoon bowl and part of the handle. Possibly a apothecary or salt spoon. The bowl is circular, on the reverse the handle runs along the diameter of the spoon creating a strengthening attachment. The handle is incomplete and is square in cross section. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1700-1900. Length: 48.45mm, Diameter (bowl);21.45mm, Thickness (stem): 3.1mm. Weight: 5.31grams.

An incomplete copper alloy T-shaped bow brooch.The bow and a fragment of the pin only remain. The wings are short and tubular, housing the axis bar for a hinged pin, the wings are filled with a white substance. The front of the wings are both decorated with three incised lines. The head of the pin is still attached to the bar in a notch between the wings. The head of the pin is expanded from the shaft and has a slight point at one side to press against the back of the brooch to tension the pin. A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1800). The main part of the mount is roughly oval in plan and is composed of a frame, grooved on its upper face. At the centre of the frame there is a heavily worn and corroded anthropomorphic mask surrounded by moulded pellets. Each side of the mask, a fleur-de-lis joins the mask to the frame and forms openwork above and below it. At the top there is a small rounded knop and at the bottom there is a semi-circular feature.
