An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester derivative brooch (probably a T-shaped type), missing the head, wings and pin. The brooch measures 71.1mm in length and weighs 19.13g. The wings and head are missing due to an old break. At the break the brooch is triangular in cross section and 6mm wide, it expands slightly to a ribbed collar before expanding to 14.05mm at the top of the bow. the bow is broadly rectangular in plan and tapers towards the foot.
