A complete silver Anglo Saxon strap end dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 800 - 900. The strap end belongs to Thomas (2003, 2) Class A, Type 1 (Trewhiddle style) and consists of a pointed oval with niello inlay. It has a split attachment end and a tapering zoomorphic terminal. The attachment end bifurcates to form two rounded knops, each has a circular perforation which permeates both the upper and lower plate. A complete side plate of a copper alloy medieval (14th century) sub rectangular composite strap end. It has a round aperture and two rivet holes with rivets in place at the incurved attachment end. It is overall 33.05mm in length, 14.55mm in width and is straight sided with knop largely missing. It is heavily abraded but apparently undecorated. The remains of a spacer appear to be attached on parts of the underside of the plate.

An early medieval cast copper-alloy strap-end with silver rivets. It is sub-rectangular and elongated in form, with a snub-nosed zoomorphic terminal and an expanded split attachment end with two rounded lobes. The lobes are pierced for attachment and contain two silver dome-headed rivets. At the base of the attachment end, where the expanded section meets the narrowed central section, is a pair of deeply incised transverse lines. A complete Late Medieval copper-alloy composite strap-end, dating to between AD 1350 and AD 1450. The strap end consists of a trapezoidal box shaped terminal and a projecting buckle. A copper alloy medieval strap end dating to the period c. AD 1150 - 1450. The strap end comprises of three plates which are held together at each end by a rivet. The upper and lower plates are longer than the middle plate. Both of these are rectangular in shape with a rounded central knop and a triangular projection on either side. The majority of the strap-end survives, but part of the zoomorphic terminal is now lost, beneath the animal's ears. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval composite strap end consisting of the outer plate and rivet. The plate is broadly D shaped in plan tapering from 8.55mm wide to 5.05mm wide at the tip. At the sip of the plate is a circular perforation which contains a in situ copper-alloy rivet (2.7mm in length). The strap end is 20.25mm in length, 8.55mm wide, 0.6mm thick and weighs 0.56 grams.

It measures 65.95mm in length, 16.65mm wide, 5.2mm thick and weighs 11.65 grams. The strap end is held together with two c.2.2mm diameter rivets, one at either corner of the open end.
