A collection of 13 lead cloth seals and bag seals all found within the footprint of a now demolished bacon curing factory (Harris') in Calne, Wiltshire. Ten of these seals are post medieval (1540-1900), the remainder are medieval (1066-1539). 3 bag type seals of WEBB & SONS MANFrs SALTNEY CHESTER, on the reverse is a central horseshoe-like design within which are possible blades of cereal sprouting topped with the word WEBBS and REGISTERED TRADE MARK around the edge. A Post Medieval lead bag seal comprising two halves. On one side is a horse going right, on the other is a probable letter 'S' within a raised circle. The seal is roughly oval in plan, It has a maximum length of 15.49 m, a maximum width of 11.76mm and a thickness of 4.22mm. It weighs 3.31 grams.

A medieval to post medieval lead seal depicting the arms of England with two projecting lugs located at twelve o'clock and 6 o'clock . The front face depicts a double crown above the arms of England within a foliate border and circumferential outer circle decorated with retrograde S's. The arms of England consisting of quartered three lions passant guardant and the arms of France modern. A late Post Medieval to Modern lead alloy kosher seal. The seal is roughly circular and has a slot running through it from top to bottom, cord would be run around the object then through the slot and it which would have been squeezed closed to attach it to the cord. One face has a raised Star of David (open interlocked equilateral triangles forming a six pointed star), the other the number 660 or 099. It is 16.6mm in diameter and 3.9mm thick. It weighs 2.79gm.
