A probably incomplete lead medieval pilgrims badge. The badge is broadly triangular in plan and is decorated with a crowned bust facing. Below the badge is decorated with two horizontal raised bands with fiver horizontal raised circles inbetween. The bust is flanked by transverse raised ridges which suggests that the artefact is incomplete, a possible break is visible on the left side of the badge. The reverse is flat apart from a vertical casting seam and two incomplete projections. The pilgrims badge is 17.45mm in length, 19.85mm wide, 2.95mm thick and weighs 2.21 grams.

A complete lead medieval pilgrims badge. The badge is circular in plan and is decorated with a female figure holding a book or a box. Behind the badge is decorated with cross hatching and a fine pellet circumferential border. A bent lead integrally cast pin is visible on the reverse along with a casting seam. The badge is 22.05mm in diameter, 5.1mm thick and weighs 4.41 grams.

An incomplete but bent lead medieval pilgrims badge depicting Saint Anne teaching the Virgin Mary to read. Saint Anne is depicted standing holding a book between her hands, wearing a nuns headdress, consisting of a coif, veil and wimple and a habit with a long skirt. The skirt is decorated with long vertical grooves representing the folds of her dress. The head of the Virgin Mary, crowned as the Queen of Heaven is visible to the left, the head has been broken off from the main badge but survives. A cast lead medieval badge which is circular in plan. The front face is highly worn and any decoration in the centre of the badge is undiagnostic, there is a fine pellet border running along the circumference. The badge has been folded in on itself in two places. The pin on the reverse is complete and is 19.8mm in length. The badge is bent ouwards. The badge is 28.25mm in length, 27.9mm in width, 7.45mm thick and weighs 9.5 grams.
