An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy Jews harp (c. 1500-c. 1800 AD). In plan, it has a circular head and tapering arm, one is missing, the survivng arm is characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. At the apex, on the front face, is a rabbet to accommodate the iron prong. There is iron staining around the rabbet.

An incomplete, slightly bent and corroded post-medieval copper-alloy Jews harp. The head and the two converging prongs all have the characteristic lozenge shaped cross-section. The head is slightly angular with rounded corners and still retains the rabbet from the tongue. The area around the rabbet has evidence of iron corrosion but any remains of the iron tongue are lost. The artefact has dark brown metal with a dusting of a light green patina.
