The remains of a copper-alloy medieval annular brooch, with just under half of the original artefact surviving. One of the broken ends features a constriction presumably for the pin. The brooch would have been circular, with six projecting circular collets; three are present on this fragment, evenly spaced. One collet still contains a green gemstone (or glass), with another gem removed recently; there is a lack of corrosion product over the white fixative. Any decorative detail has been lost due to corrosion.

A worn and incomplete Roman cast plate brooch of 2nd-century date. This flat brooch has an annular body with circular open centre (Dia.: 8.9mm). At the cardinal points are four protrusions which have suffered differing levels of abrasion. On the lower surface on the two complete, opposing protrusions are, respectively, the abraded catch-plate and the perforated, semi-circular double pin lug. The artefact has two parallel lines running along the edges of the upper surface acting as a border, possibly formed by a roulette wheel. The foot of the bow is flat and at the tip there is a horizontal ridge and a projecting knop.
