An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age (400-200 BC) La Tène I type brooch which is missing its head, spring, pin and the foot. It measures 46.75mm in length, 5.55mm wide (across the bow), 13.6mm deep (bow to catchplate) and weighs 6.07 grams. The head of the bow and the majority of the spring are missing, the neck expands from the integral coil and projects outwards at a ninety degree angle to form the thickening bow.
