Post-medieval silver whistle-teether for a baby or young child, missing its coral end.
The whistle is cylindrical, 74mm long, and divided into three, roughly even, sections by two circles of spiral silver wire. The complete end is shaped into a whistle with a concave curved recessed side to make the mouth piece and on the opposite face a large D-shaped hole punched into the cylinder, the straight edge towards the mouth end. Description: A post-medieval silver thimble. The base is decorated with a circumferential groove with a circumferential band of punched decoration above.
The majority of the body is decorated with closely spaced stamped amulets with a undecorated panel 16mm wide and 4.5mm in height which has SP stamped to the left of an inscription M L.
Below the inscribed M is a drilled circular perforation with an internal diameter of 1.85mm
The thimble is 17.5mm in diameter, 21.5mm in height and weighs 4.28 grams.

A complete silver Anglo Saxon strap end dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 800 - 900. The strap end belongs to Thomas (2003, 2) Class A, Type 1 (Trewhiddle style) and consists of a pointed oval with niello inlay. It has a split attachment end and a tapering zoomorphic terminal. The attachment end bifurcates to form two rounded knops, each has a circular perforation which permeates both the upper and lower plate. An incomplete silver Anglo-Saxon strap-end of Thomas's Class A type 1, with convex sides and a zoomorphic terminal in the form of an animal's head. The majority of the strap-end survives, but part of the zoomorphic terminal is now lost, beneath the animal's ears. The split attachment end is fan-shaped with two circular perforations but no surviving rivets. The strap-end is slightly bent upwards towards the terminal end.

A fragment of a silver post-medieval seal matrix consisting of the tip of the handle. The handle terminates with a oval loop, the loop has a small projecting knop located at the top. Flanking the lower section of the oval loop are two knops, one located on each side. Below the openwork handle splits forming a triangle below which is a horizontal ridge. The remainder of the seal matrix is missing below this point.
The fragment is 15.05mm in length, 7.65mm wide, 3.65mm thick and weighs 0.89 grams.

Description: An incomplete silver post-medieval pedestal type seal matrix.
The seal face is oval and carries a design an anchor with a heart located in the centre of the shank flanked by two outstretched wings. There is a pellet border around the edge. The handle is hexagonal in cross section, the letters TL are inscribed, the handle decorated with two raised horizontal bands before it flares out into a incomplete openwork terminal, now too fragmentary to be certain of the design.

A silver medieval seal matrix. The seal matrix is pointed oval in shape with a longitudinal mid-rib on the reverse from which a D-shaped suspension loop projects. The obverse exhibits a pellet border within which the legend * LOVINE : DELELAMVR is engraved. The N of LOVINE is reversed. There is an inner pellet border within which is an engraved design of two clasped hands.

A silver post-medieval seal matrix, dating to the late 17th to 18th century. The seal matrix has a conical handle (hexagonally faceted) which terminates in an openwork trefoil terminal with three inverted drop-shaped apertures. On top of this terminal is a small, rounded knop.
The base of the seal matrix is oval, and features a shield divided into quarters, surrounded on either side by foliage and topped by a helm out of which sprout five ostrich plumes. An early medieval gilded silver pyramidal mount, probably from a sword scabbard. The mount is hollow and has a flat top with a square perforation, probably a setting for a gemstone or glass inlay which has since been lost.
The mount has four faces, each decorated with a design of three interlocking, recessed triangles within an incised border around the edges. The remains of gilding are visible within the recessed triangles. Between the triangles are two parallel incised grooves forming two chevrons.
An integral silver bar (width 2.4mm) runs transversely across the base of the mount.

A complete Post Medieval silver gilt dress pin with hollow-cast spherical head, c. 16th century AD. The pin has been drawn from a thick silver wire, the shaft tapers from 3.2mm to 1.05mm at the tip and the shaft measures approximately 76.55 mm long (excluding the head) with a bend about one third of the way along the shaft from the head. The pin has subsequently been straigtened. The flat end seems to have been pushed through and soldered into a highly-decorative head. Only a very small circular end of the pin protrudes from the top of the spherical head.

An incomplete silver early-medieval penny of Edward the Confessor modified into a pendant and gilded. The penny is the pointed helmet type (North 825[1]), and was struck by the moneyer Beorhtwine at the Wallingford mint. It is datable to 1053-1056.
The coin has been gilded and a loop with three vertical ridges has been attached to the coin at 12 o'clock on the obverse. The loop is 4.4mm in length and 4.1mm thick). A gilded ring (5mm in internal diameter and 1.8mm thick) is attached to the loop.

An incomplete Early Medieval silver hooked tag inlaid with niello. The hooked tag consists of a D-shaped plate with two circular perforations (one incomplete due to an old break) before tapering to a zoomorphic attachment end, which terminates in a now-incomplete hook.
