A corroded and incomplete wrought iron horseshoe of probable later medieval date, possibly post-medieval. It has a rounded outer edge and an inner profile resembling a pointed arch. There are at least two nail holes on either side; it is likely the artefact has six nail holes, arranged three-three. Both terminals have been lost; it is not clear whether any calkins were present. One terminal is thickened (web width: 33.3mm) compared to the other (13.9mm). This 'later medieval' form can be compared with those illustrated in Clark (1986, 3; fig. 8).

A corroded iron artefact: probably an arrowhead of medieval date. The object consists of a square-sectioned head which emerges from a flaring conical shaft, now filled with corrosion product. The shaft is abraded at it base. The form is similar to an arrowhead illustrated in Ward Perkins (1940, 69; ref. 7) which is dated to the 13th/14th century AD.

An incomplete Medieval iron key of probable 14th-century date. The bow is incomplete and circular in cross section. The shank is broadly square in cross section 9.65mm thick. The simple bit has two clefts, 13.65mm and 4.85mm in length. The key is heavily corroded and is flaking.

A complete iron sword pommel of Medieval date. The pommel is oval in plan and irregular in section. In section the pommel appears as a squat cylinder with an enlarged mid-section which gives the pommel a bi-conical form with the tops of the cones truncated and a broad flat band, which forms the middle of the pommel, joining the two truncated conical halves. The broad flat band area of the pommel has two rounded rectangular holes directly opposite each other and one larger in size than the other. A complete wrought iron horseshoe of later medieval date. It has a rounded outer edge and an inner profile resembling a pointed arch. There is evidence for six nail holes, arranged three-three. The holes are rectangular, iron nails are visible in three of the holes. At the heel end evidence of calkins is visible on both sides, turned down through ninety degrees. The artefact is corroded. This 'later medieval' form can be found illustrated in Clark (1986, 3; fig. 8). The horseshoe is 115.5mm in length, 123.45mm wide and weighs c. 350 grams.

Four iron miniature hammers of late Roman date.Two of the hammers are formed from a basic construction resembling that of T shaped nails although due to their form and the excavated assemblage they are miniature votive models of hammers. Both have incomplete curved loops at the tip of the handle. The hammer heads are rectangular and square in cross section. A modern silvered medallion of Wiltshire Friendly Society. On one face is a depiction of T. H .S. Sotheron-Estcourt. On the reverse is WILTS FRIENDLY SOCIETY FOUNDED 1828 surrounded by a laurel wreath. The medallion is 45.82mm in diameter, 4.61mm thick and weighs 30.90 grams. T..H.S. Sotheron-Estcourt (1801-1876) was a Member of Parliament for several Wiltshire constituencies.

A largely complete but damaged Roman iron hipposandal. The hipposandal is formed from a broadly rectangular plate which tapers towards the front and rear with two projections located on either side. The hipposandal has a flat sole. There are two incomplete side wings, at right angles to the sole. The heel is upturned at about 45 degrees and flares outwards. An incomplete iron helmet of post-medieval date probably a English civil war lobster pot helmet. The helmet is 200mm in surviving height and 210mm wide and 300mm in length. The helmet is formed of two plates joined in the centre with a raised comb. A number of incomplete rivets survive within the two plates, internally they have square sectioned washers (12.6mm wide).
