An incomplete copper alloy Roman bow and fantail brooch consisting of the bow and catchplate. The upper section of the bow, the wings and pin are missing. The remaining section is flat and trapezoid with an old break across the top edge from which the sides expand outwards to meet the straight lower edge. The front is decorated with three longiudinal incisions located either side of a raised longiduninal ridge with centre incision. An incomplete cast copper-alloy medieval composite buckle frame with forked spacer. The oval frame has a central, pointed lip and curved recess on the inner face. A complete cast copper alloy Roman lock-bolt, dating from c. 2nd Century AD. The lock-bolt is rectangular in plan and in section and comprises a central openwork frame; a narrowed rectangular panel projects from one end of the central element while a long and thin rectangular shank projects perpendicularly from the opposite end. There is some wear to the locking mechanism. Lock-bolts formed part of a tumbler-lock and would have been opened with a slide key. A fragment of an abraded Roman oxidised fineware Samian hemispherical bowl form 37. The fragment has very fine non micaceous fabric which suggests that it is possibly Central gaulish. The abraded bowl is decorated with an abraded band of decorated with a band of pellets below. The main decorated panels are difficult to identify; within a oval ropeword and raised band is an abraded element which is incomplete. The sherd is 77.30mm in length, 69.45mm wide, 9.95mm thick and weighs 47.65grams.

The abraded vessel is decorated with raised circumferential bands located below two raised oval bands which contain decoration. Inbetween each oval band is a raised abraded decorated section. The vessel is 67.65mm in length, 55.60mm wide, 9.55mm thick and weighs 35.55 grams.
