The abraded sherd is decorated with an abraded central floral motif flanked by two possible animals facing inwards. The sherd is 26.2mm in length, 23.7mm wide, 6.6mm thick and weighs 3.48 grams.

A rim sherd of a Roman black-burnished ware jar, probably BB2, dating from the early Roman period, probably 2nd-3rd century AD. The sherd is in very good condition, made from fine, sandy grey fabric with few quartzite inclusions. The outside surface of the sherd still retains the black burnished slip that is typical for this type of local Roman pottery. The sherd is 49.15mm in length, 39.45mm wide, 15.65mm thick and weighs 21.69 grams.

A fragment of an abraded Roman oxidised fineware Samian hemispherical bowl form 37. The fragment has very fine non micaceous fabric which suggests that it is possibly Central gaulish. The abraded bowl is decorated with an abraded band of decorated with a band of pellets below. The main decorated panels are difficult to identify; within a oval ropeword and raised band is an abraded element which is incomplete. The sherd is 77.30mm in length, 69.45mm wide, 9.95mm thick and weighs 47.65grams.

A fragment of an abraded Roman oxidised fineware Samian vessel, probably a bowl or plate. The fragment has very fine non micaceous fabric which suggests that it is possibly Central gaulish. The abraded vessel is decorated with raised circumferential bands located below two raised oval bands which contain decoration. Inbetween each oval band is a raised abraded decorated section. The vessel is 67.65mm in length, 55.60mm wide, 9.55mm thick and weighs 35.55 grams.

A fragment of an abraded Roman oxidised fineware vessel with lead vessel mend. The fragment is possible from a East Gaulish samian ware vessel. The vessel fragment is a possible rim fragment of a Roman fineware vessel with a heavily abraded slip. The fragment has sparse very fine inclusions. The vessel has been repaired with an in situ lead vessel mend which is circular in cross section on the interior of the vessel and broadly rectangular on the exterior of the vessel. The vessel is 24.1mm in length, 50.45mm wide, 7.6mm thick (vessel), 10.65mm thick (repair) and weighs 6.27 grams.

A rim fragment of Medieval/ Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy cooking vessel. The rim thickens slightly towards the tip. It expands slightly on the inner face and is flat on the outer face. The fragment measures 36.0mm in length, 47.3mm in width, 3.4mm thick and weighs 21.7 grams. Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1200-1800 for serving and cooking. Butler and Green (2003; 15) state 'there is evidence that (cast copper alloy) metal cooking vessels became increasingly common during the 13th and 14th centuries'. A cast copper-alloy leg/foot from a cooking vessel of later medieval to post-medieval date. The foot is sub-rectangular in shape. In profile the fragment curves, the reverse is slightly concave. A prominent median rib, triangular in cross-section, runs down the length of the leg, the leg thickens towards the tip.
